DAY ONE
Reached Taipei Airport @ 2pm. Headed straight to our hotel to put our baggage down and rest. Went to the airport again to pick up some other tour members. Headed for dinner at a restaurant and den XI MEN DING to shop! Bought some stuffs and back to hotel
DAY TWO
We went to some museum and toured around. Went to Yehliu! Super Nice Scenic Place filled with rocks and ocean! Oh my... Lastly, we watched the Ah Mei Tribe ppl's performances and got invited to dance with dem! *paiseh*
DAY THREE
Visited a chinese medicine manufacturing factory, they explained the goodness of their stuffs. Mom bought a bottle of Deer Foetus Powder that costed 400 sing dollars! oh my... it's for my sensitive nose and to clense dad's lungs! *guilty*
We toured their night markets (streets) and I bought some stuffs again! Our dinner was to eat whatever we wanted at the night market after putting our stuffs back at our 3rd hotel. The night market was 12.5min walk away from our hotel. Walked to and fro back, bought some stuffs again. LOLx! Ate pepper bun *SUPER NICE*! It's like pork and loadsa spring onions and then baked in brick wall, had O wah jian, Coffin plank (guan cai ban) and Cua Bing (strawberry iceblend with fruits as toppings). Then, home sweet hotel!
DAY FOUR
Woke up rather late because today's itinery was dry visits! Not much places. First, we visited a place smth like SG's Haw Par Villa, whereby they painted their tunnels with illustrations of the different levels of hell. Sat a 3hrs ride to Fokuang Si whereby they've a cave like exhibition hall that made us walk through it, depicting the route of incarnation. Rather interesting coz I did feel like I was going to be rebirth. Hee~ Went to the Swallow Cave but we couldn't climb up the mountain coz rocks rolled down the day before we went. Aw~ Dipped our feet into the waterfall cool spring water. Clear for drinking too! Bought some purses for my poly friends at the ethnic shopping place. Took a short ride to our 4th hotel, rather infamous but the rooms were big. Big beds, bathtub and shower room! Had Korean BBQ dinner today! Yummy... I've always love it! We played Zong Ji Mi Ma (Code guessing game) Dad was the setter, where else all of us played. I didn't get forfeited at all.. Ha~ the rest did! The forfeits were to finish the leftover food! Ha~ Home Sweet Hotel!
FIFTH DAY
Woke up super early today (5.30am) coz we're going up to the mountains (Ah Li Shan). Chilly weather, bout 12degrees! Din bring our super thick jackets to TW but wore long sleeves and new jacket! Took some scenic pics with my family. Toured around again... Celebrated my sister's 15th Birthday @ a steamboat restaurant! Our tourguide prepared a cake for her and everyone in the tour group sang bday song for her. Ha~ Back to our hotel where there's free internet! Wooh~ checked email and youth xchange emailed me again. A 10-storey shopping centre beside our hotel building (their buildings are close tgt). Bought a pink nike shoulder bag while sis bought a nike white sling (big) bag! Home Sweet Hotel!
